Scope/Content: Manuscript volume containing sermons and lectures, the majority of them preached by John Baird at Paisley. There is also one sermon ascribed to Thomas Melvil. Written throughout in a small, neat hand, this is possibly a fair copy of transcriptions made from sermons, as there are some cancellations but very few corrections or insertions. There are multiple pen trials and inscriptions in childish hands in the latter half of the volume.
Condition: Bound in old calf with traces of clasps. Front cover loose and almost detached from volume. Housed in modern cloth case.
