150W: Matriarchs of the Third World Liberation Front at UC Berkeley
In commemoration of 150 years since women were first admitted to UC Berkeley, this oral history project interviews women who were a part of the Third World Liberation Front at UC Berkeley. The TWLF was a coalition of students of color who demanded justice and liberation in education. In solidarity with the Third World Liberation Front at San Francisco State College and with the support of community organizations, the TWLF went on one of the longest student strikes in history in 1968-1969. 1934 International Longshoremen's Association and General Strike
This collection consists of 544 modern prints made from original negatives held by The Bancroft Library. The negatives are part of the photograph archive of the San Francisco News-Call Bulletin newspaper photograph archive (BANC PIC 1959.010) and were taken by staff photographers of the newspaper. For many years, this collection consisted of only the first 247 items listed in this finding aid. In 1998, an additional 297 original negatives were discovered in the files of the San Francisco News-Call Bulletin newspaper photograph archive and were printed and added as items 248-544. Abner Doble papers
The Abner Doble Papers consists of correspondence, drawings, reports, patents, photographs, and notebooks documenting Doble's role in the development of 20th century steam technology. Collection also includes papers relating to the Doble family, several of whom were also engineers and inventors, including Doble's grandfather and namesake Abner Doble, his father William Ashton Doble, and his brother Warren Doble.

Collection shows laborers from various ethnic groups (Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, "Hindu") working in the following locations: Sacramento (including Japantown), San Jose, San Francisco, Fresno, Los Angeles, Gilroy, and Merced.
