About this Collection

Ted Sahl is an award winning photographer in San Jose, California who has spent the last 30 years as a photojournalist, documenting social and political events in the Bay Area. Although best known for his involvement with the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community, Sahl also covered anti-nuclear demonstrations at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and the farm labor strikes that occurred during the 1970's in California.

The King Library Digital Collection currently includes a representative selection of the 6000 photographic prints in the collection, and new images are added to the collection periodically.
