About this Collection
This collection, generated by a consortium of CSU Archives, features documents, oral histories, photographs and other materials relating to the incarceration of Japanese American during World War II. Touching on a wide range of topics, many camps, the effects of the earlier Alien Land Acts and other topics, the CSU collections bring together disparate local collections into one website to form a collection of national importance. The CSU Japanese American Digitization Project was funded, in part, by a grant from the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Japanese American Confinement Sites Grant Program.
