About this CollectionThis collection, generated by a consortium of CSU Archives, features documents, oral histories, photographs and other materials relating to the incarceration of Japanese American during World War II. Touching on a wide range of topics, many camps, the effects of the earlier Alien Land Acts and other topics, the CSU collections bring together disparate local collections into one website to form a collection of national importance. The CSU Japanese American Digitization Project was funded, in part, by a grant from the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Japanese American Confinement Sites Grant Program. The project was also funded, in part, by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
