About this Collection
Selected material from the Mary B. Olney papers, including photographs, reports, ephemera, and correspondence. Olney graduated from the UCSF School of Medicine in 1932. She completed her training in pediatrics at San Francisco General Hospital and served as a professor at UCSF. She founded Camp Whitaker and Bearskin Meadow Camp, wilderness camps in California for children with diabetes, and the Diabetic Youth Foundation with her partner, Ellen Simpson.
