Selected material from the records of the UCSF AIDS Health Project (AHP). AHP began its HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and counseling efforts in 1984 with support from the San Francisco Department of Public Health. AHP staff and volunteers conducted research and provided mental health, testing, and social services to youth, gay men, minority communities, and other groups.
