About this Collection
This collection contains raw and processed data from a variety of instruments deployed throughout September 2013 over a fringing coral reef near Makua Beach, Oahu, Hawai'i. The data include velocity and pressure measurements from three Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs); temperature measurements from twenty-two Seabird 56s, deployed across two different thermistor-chains; pressure, temperature, and salinity from one Seabird 37 Microcat; pressure measurements from two Seabird 26s; and velocity and pressure measurements from an Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter (ADV). The entire array is constrained within a box measuring 2 km in the alongshore and 250 m in the cross-shore direction, between the 12 m and 20 m isobaths. For more information on the setup and processing, please refer to the Arzeno et al. manuscript: "An Alongshore Momentum Budget over a Fringing Tropical Fore-Reef", to be published in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans.
