About this Collection
Field notebooks, photographs, and documents of botanist and agronomist Wilson Popenoe (1892-1975). Popenoe studied avocados and other fruit and plant life, primarily in Latin America. He worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in the role of agricultural explorer from 1914-1925, including work with the University of California College of Agriculture.
