About this Collection

The tragic destruction of Palmyra in 2015 by ISIS was a catalyst that led to the creation of The Arc/k Project as a non-profit organization dedicated to the digital preservation of objects and locations under threat. These models are continuously improved by the kind donations of citizen archivist volunteers, institutions and organizations around the world.
