Audiovisual recordings from the collection of poet David Bromige. David Bromige was a poet, critic, and professor associated with the Black Mountain School of Poetry. Materials in the collection include recordings of his classes and events at Sonoma State University, readings at the Berkeley Rhymer's Club, Bromige reading and singing, and many more poetry readings at various locations. A significant object consists of nineteen original tapes documenting Bromige's and Richard Denner's production of their cantos. Voices of prominent poets featured in this collection include: Joanne Kyger, Robert Grenier, Michael Davidson, Robert Creeley, and Robert Duncan, and more.
