The 30 member group were divided into two smaller ones of 15, each to have its own separate itinerary and guides upon leaving Guangzhou, their initial stop in China. The two groups converged again in Beijing towards the end of the trip. Sanford and Doyle’s group went to Changsha, Shaoshan, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Shenyang, Anshan, Fushun, Beijing, Foshan and Guangzhou.
