Base Hospital #30 Collection
Base Hospital No. 30 (also known as the Thirtieth General Hospital) was a division of the US Army during World War I and World War II. It was organized by the University of California and the American Red Cross and staffed predominantly by UCSF doctors, nurses, and dentists. Call number: AR 2017-16

Bear Facts
Bear Facts was the newsletter published by the Oceanids, a service and social organization promoting friendship and services to the UC San Diego community. Oceanids began as a women’s organization in the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and remains active today. The newsletter is currently known as Oceanids News and is available through the organization’s website.

Bear Valley Country Club, 1893-1895
The Country Club in Bear Valley was established in 1890 by members of the Pacific Union Club in San Francisco who were seeking a bucolic spot with plenty of fish and game for their sporting activities. These photographs are mostly from an album made for club members, circa 1895.

Bear Valley Ranch
From 1943 through 1949 the Bear Valley Ranch was operated by Eugene C. Compton, as a dairy ranch. Compton staged rodeos there in an arena he built for that purpose. The "W" or Bear Valley Ranch site later became the headquarters for the Point Reyes National Seashore which was established in 1963.

Beaumont Library District
Items were selected from the archival holdings of Beaumont Library District's history collection. Of special interest are images that depict the historical buildings, structures, railroads, public institutions, ranches and farms and the topical geography in the expansion of the Beaumont- Cherry Valley Pass area. The collection portrays the economic growth, significant events and prominent individuals and families that were instrumental in the development of Beaumont and Cherry Valley communities.

This collection consists of 21 oral histories from the Beginnings of Activism for the Department of Asian American Studies (BADAAS) at University of California, Irvine project. BADAAS was a group created by the chair of the Department of Asian American Studies, Dr. Judy Wu, and Dr. Thuy Vo Dang, director of the Southeast Asian Archive for the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Department of Asian American Studies. They assembled a group of interns to research the history of the creation of Asian American Studies on campus and conducted oral histories with the professors, staff and faculty members, activists, and former students …

Belcher Atlas of Humboldt County
The Belcher Atlas of Humboldt County, California, compiled from official records and private sources and surveys, shows drainages, settlements, roads, trails, railroads, township and section lines, parcel ownership, and Indian allotments. The Index and Sheets 1-8 were published in 1921; the remainder were published in 1922.
