Genotype data from: NIDA Center for GWAS in Outbred rats
This collection contains genotype data collected as part of the NIDA Center for GWAS in Outbred rats and more than 10 additional research projects that use N/NIH heterogeneous stock (HS) outbred rats. We obtain genotypes for DNA samples derived from rats that are phenotyped by different research projects. We use these genotypes to perform genome wide association studies (GWAS) and a number of related analyses.

George A. Shumway Jr. Photographs
Photographs from the collection of George A. Shumway Jr, Ph.D, former Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) researcher. The images document historic and scientific information on SIO expeditions to the Arctic, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, and Peru, many from the Shellback Expedition which voyaged in the 1950s. Shumway took pictures of wildlife, sea life, local people, scenery, oceanographic instruments, and candid shots of expedition personnel. Digital copies of the original images were donated to the library by Shumway's daughter, Holly Montúfar, Dorothy Shumway, and the entire Shumway family.

George E. Hyde & Co. Canning Operations, 1915-1921
The album contains 17 photographic prints taken of the George E. Hyde & Co. canning operations between 1915 and 1921. The album includes a panoramic view of the George E. Hyde & Co. works, with various buildings labeled. Other views show interiors of the cannery (with men and women at work) children at the day care center, peach-processing equipment, canning machinery, cans on the assembly line, box-making operations, labeling, the warehouse, fruit-cutting room, and related views. George E. Stone Photographic Collection
The George E. Stone Photographic Collection, a three-volume set titled "Ivories, Sculptures and Paintings," documents Italian artwork prior to World War II (c.1941). Stone visited museums in Florence, Italy, and photographed selected early religious artworks, particularly, renderings of "the Holy Mother", saints, angels, and Christ as an infant and the resurrection. This three volume set is presented in six portfolios and includes 94 photographs: b&w, 16x36 cm.-42 x 24 cm, mounted on 51x41 boards.

George Fearing Hollis Papers
Papers of George Fearing Hollis, Union Naval officer (1861-1865) and United States Consul to Cape Town, South Africa (1888-1893). The papers consist mainly of correspondence Hollis wrote to his mother and wife during the Civil War, describing both personal and war-related activities aboard three different vessels engaged in blockading on the eastern seaboard and the Gulf of Mexico; appointments, promotions, and official acts; and memoirs written after the Civil War documenting his role in various battles and expeditions. George M.A. Schoener Collection
The Schoener Collection contains correspondence, poems both in German and English, and articles on rose breeding and horticulture. There also exist approximately thirty notebooks containing rough drafts of articles and personal thoughts. Included in the papers is Schoener's manual on Church doctrine, which was never published. He ordered the remainder of his papers to be burned after his death. The Collection also includes a biography of Schoener by B. Russel based on Schoener's recollections. His photographs can be found in the Schoener Photo Collection (#27,001-#27, 005). Other Schoener papers are available at the Huntington Library.

George P. Johnson Negro Film Collection, 1916-1977
George P. Johnson's collection consists primarily of material related to the Lincoln Motion Picture Company, Johnson’s brother, Noble M. Johnson, Oscar Micheaux, and the Oscar Micheaux Film and Book Co. Includes newspaper clippings, photographs, publicity material, posters, correspondence, and business records related to early Black film companies, Black films, films with Black casts, and Black musicians, sports figures, and entertainers. Also contains personal papers of George P. Johnson. This digital collection includes posters and photographs of and related to Noble M. Johnson, an early Black film actor, dating between 1916 and the mid-1920s.
