Mount Zion Collection: UCSF/Stanford Merger
Selected printed materials that document the merger between the UCSF Medical Center, Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic, Stanford University Hospital, Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford and the clinical practices of the full-time faculty of UCSF School of Medicine and the Stanford Medical School. Ulrich Collection on the Gulls' Way Estate
Gulls' Way is an 11.5 acre estate atop the bluffs at Latigo Point in Malibu. Billie (Luella) and Rick (Erving) Ulrich bought the property in 1943 from the Marblehead Land Company. They completed building the guest house in 1947 and main house in 1971. A number of movies and television shows fimed on the property, including It's Only Money (1962), "Fantasy Isand" (1978-1984), and "Hardcastle & McCormick" (1983-1986). The Ulrichs hosted many parties and celebrations over the years, inlcuding an annual 4th of July party which conicided with Billie's birthday. Gulls' Way remains a popular wedding venue today. Underway Shipboard Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (SADCP) Data Archive
Shipboard acoustic Doppler current profilers (SADCPs) measure the horizontal components of the ocean current vector. This collection assembles post-processed and publicly available SADCP data collected by underway research ships on multiple oceanographic cruises into an organized, quality-controlled, metadata rich and searchable database of ocean current transects (slices of the upper ocean between 2 points on the Earth). The collection consists of regional NetCDF files where data are organized by a unique transect number. The data and file can be used in conjunction with the pysadcp software available at https://github.com/ocesaulo/pysadcp.

UNITE HERE Local 11 Oral History Project
UNITE HERE Local 11, currently representing over 30,000 hospitality workers in southern California and Arizona, has a long history in Los Angeles. Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees (HERE) Local 11 brought together previously separate locals for waiters, waitresses, bartenders, cooks, and other hotel workers. In the 1970s and 1980s, the predominantly Spanish-speaking membership of Local 11 fought for fuller participation in their union against a largely Anglo leadership. In 1989, María Elena Durazo became the first Latina to lead a major Los Angeles union. She began reorienting the local towards greater membership participation and a more assertive stance with employers. …

The collection includes images featured in the exhibit A Strange and Fearful Interest; the Joel B. Clough (1823-1881) collection of photographs of Union railroad engineering projects in Virginia, and scrapbooks assembled by Civil War correspondent and illustrator James Edward Taylor (1839-1901).

United States Naval Undersea Museum
The Arc/k Project partnered with the museum to digitally preserve a number of historical artifacts related to the undersea operations of the United States Navy. The collection includes a captured Japanese Kaiten submarine and various pieces of deep diving equipment.
