Wait (Frona Eunice) Lantern Slides of California Wine Country
Digital surrogates of eighty-five lantern slides taken by Frona Eunice Wait depicting wine-related scenes in the Napa Valley area during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The slides from which these scans were made were previously owned by sensory scientist Dr. Maynard Amerine. Currently, the slides are the property of the Napa Valley Wine Library Association. Note on metadata: The provenance of the metadata at the Napa Valley Wine Library is not entirely clear. WALL Literary Journal
First published in 2001, the WALL literary journal is an award-winning publication featuring poetry, short stories, personal narratives, photographs, and artwork selected among submissions from students at Saddleback College. This nationally-recognized journal is produced annually by students enrolled in English 160, a 3-unit course where students assume staff positions involved with reviewing and selecting submissions, layout, design, copy editing, and publicity. Wallace J. Miller Watercolors and Pen and Ink Drawings
Paintings and drawings are of the City of Riverside between 1895 and 1897. The collection documents businesses, hotels, stables, blacksmith shops, and scenic views of Riverside and the surrounding area. The collection consists of 60 paintings, all of which were created by Wallace J. Miller.

Wallace Neff (1895-1982)
Edwin Wallace Neff, Sr. was born on January 28, 1895 in La Mirada, California. He attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he studied architecture and graduated in 1917. Following school, Neff worked at the American Shipbuilding Company in San Pedro, California during WWI. In 1919, Neff worked as a draftsman for George Washington Smith in Santa Barbara before opening his own firm in Los Angeles. Wallace Neff died on June 8, 1982.

The Wally G. Shidler Historical Collection of Southern California Ephemera is a collection of pamphlets, folders, maps, books, and electric railway time tables from the Los Angeles City, County and adjacent areas. The physical collection is heavy in Pacific Electric and Los Angeles Railway materials as well as Theatre Programs from most of the major theatres in the Los Angeles area. The physical collection contains most of the Huntington Park and Walnut Park City Directory's beginning in 1914. Walsh (Robert) Files on Southeast Asian Refugee Resettlement and Education
This collection comprises materials accumulated during Walsh's involvement with the Overseas Refugee Program for Southeast Asian refugees in the Philippines and Thailand, and also materials that he collected regarding the education and resettlement of Southeast Asians in the United States. The collection consists of video cassettes; conference schedules; curricula, resource catalogs, reference books, and workbooks for ESL education programs; newspaper clippings; reports and studies; and serial publications. Cultural orientation materials-- such as handbooks, guides, and manuals-- for refugees and their sponsors and service providers are also included. Collection of approximately 750 digitized photographs and other items collected by Walter L. Gordon, Jr. and given to William C. Beverly, Jr., who donated the collection to UCLA. Collection includes photos given to Walter by his former boss, Charlotta Bass, publisher of the California Eagle, as well as other photos he collected. Photos largely depict African American social life and family life in 1940s Los Angeles and feature celebrities, athletes, politicians, lawyers, and other notable people of the era.
