The San Bernardino Public Library is a system of four libraries, the Norman F. Feldheym Central Library, the Dorothy Inghram Branch Library, the Howard M. Rowe Branch Library and the Paul Villaseñor Branch Library. Local history collections are preserved in the Arda Haenszel California Room of the Norman F. Feldheym Central Library.

Historical Treasures of San Bernardino
San Bernardino Public Library's photograph collection includes images of family life, work life, daily activities in the community that would be of historical interest to the people of San Bernardino and surrounding areas. Our photographs cover a period from the late 1878 to 1999. The collection includes family photos from some prominent area families including Hirata family; Holcomb family; Caddell family; Santini family and Valles family.

Pioneers of San Bernardino
This group of San Bernardino Pioneers was the daring folks that in the 1850s traveled by wagon trains on the Santa Fe and Salt Lake Trails that brought them to San Bernardino. They formed a pioneer society.

The San Bernardino Public Library participated in a statewide program called California of the Past where digital A/V recording stations were set up at libraries so local citizens could recording their memories of events and history of the state of California or their towns and cities. The videos have been edited with pictures and music to enhance the storytelling.
