Through a collaboration between California Department of Fish & Wildlife, NOAA Fisheries Service and Scripps Institution of Oceanography a cooperative was formed in 1949 to study and document the Pacific Coast Region. This group was named The California Cooperative Oceanic Fisheries Investigations (CalCOFI) and was initially charged with studying the collapse of the sardine population in coastal California and has evolved over the years to study many aspects of marine life and climate science. Holocaust Living History Workshop
The video recordings represent events organized by the Holocaust Living History Workshop (HLHW). Established in 2008 as a collaborative project of the UC San Diego Jewish Studies Program and the Library, the HLHW aims to preserve the memory of the victims and survivors of the Holocaust. Paul Pickowicz Collection
Paul Pickowicz, Distinguished Professor of History and Chinese Studies at UC San Diego, traveled to China as a member of Committee of Concerned Asian Scholars (CCAS) Friendship Delegation from June 23 to July 24, 1971. Chinese Independent Film Festival posters and ephemera from the Li Xianting Film Fund Archive and REEL China Film Festival that occurred during 2004 to 2016.
