2018-3264. Shows radio station studio with Paul Speegle (radio MC), Paul C. Smith (editor & gen mgr Chronicle), George Cameron (publisher Chronicle) and Mayor Roger Lapham of San Francisco. "Jan 10 1952" -- stamped on verso. Paul Speegle was radio editor for the San Francisco Chronicle; left to become program manager for San Francisco radio station KNBC. Paul Clifford Smith, born in 1908. Worked as prospector, lumberjack, investment banker managing the New York Anglo-California Bank. Went into newspaper industry as reporter, in 1937 became editor of the San Francisco Chronicle. Was chairman of Crowell Collier Publishing Co. Died in 1976. George Toland Cameron was born in 1873, died in 1955. Organized the Pacific Oil Transportation Company (built pipe lines), president Santa Cruz Portland Cement Company beginning in 1908; in 1911 president Universal Oil Company; publisher San Francisco Chronicle. Roger Lapham born in 1883 in New York City. Mayor of San Francisco from 1944-1948. Died in 1966.
