Description
Photograph of a North American X-10 jet in flight, ca.1960. At center, a large jet [Navaho X-10 missile ?] is seen flying above the ground pointing to the right. The body of the plane is cylindrical in shape and lacks any extensive wings. Along the jet's right side, an emblem in the shape of a star can be seen. Two horizontal flaps are seen extending from either side of the beak of the jet. Also, two vertical and two horizontal flaps are seen extending from either side of the tail. Two engines are visible at the tail of the jet. In the background, outlines of mountains are vaguely visible.
