Description
Initially established by RCA in 1947, NBC Productions was renamed NBC Studios in 1996.
Photograph caption dated December 31, 1953 reads, "Here is NBC's custom-designed color mobile unit which traveled all the way from New York to Pasadena to participate in the NBC colorcast of tomorrow morning's Rose parade [sic]. Capacity of the unit is three color cameras. It generates its own electric power and has built-in air conditioning."
