Aerial view of Excelsior Union High School, located at 15711 Pioneer Blvd. in Norwalk; view is looking west. Pioneer Blvd. is horizontally at forefront; Alondra Blvd. is vertically at left (left of the school); Barnwall St. is slightly vertically up middle; Excelsior Drive is slightly diagonally, middle right to upper rightt; Maidstone Ave. is slightly horizontally at middle (behind football field); Studebaker Rd. is horizontally at top; Hayford St., Nava St., Lowemont St., Cheshire St. and Barnwall St. are vertically at bottom from left to right. Two churches are located lower right: at 15213 Pioneer Blvd. (today it is the Hindu Temple Swaminarayan Mandir Isso), and at 15333 Pioneer Blvd. (today it is the Church of Christ). Excelsior Union High School cornerstone was laid 1923. Photograph dated April 12, 1960.
