This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "Hamilton Square Baptist Church Post near Steiner." Church is on the south side of Post just east of Steiner. A smaller wooden church is to the left of it. Past this is a tiny lunch counter patronized by those attending fights and other events at Dreamland Auditorium, from where this photo was taken.
