Evening dress & carriage costume for January, 1828.; The woman on the left is wearing a short-sleeved, red evening dress. She is wearing elbow-length white gloves, a necklace, and earrings. She is holding a fan in her left hand. Her hair is decorated with flowers. Above her head to the left is a cap decorated with flowers and lappets. The woman on the left is wearing a blue carriage costume with ruffles at the bottom. SHe is wearing a black overcoat with fur trimmings over it. She is wearing yellow gloves and a black hat. Above her head to the right is a turban decorated with feathers.
