Description
A woman wears a green walking dress with long sleeves and an empire waist. The collar is white, pointed, and close to the neck, while the sleeves puff out at the shoulders. Two vertical lines of green decoration run down the front of the bodice. A single line of the same pattern runs down the center of the skirt, and a green band with a bow runs under the bodice. The woman wears brown boots and white stockings. A glimpse of her white petticoat is visible. She wears a green poke bonnet that is trimmed with pink flowers and ties under the chin. Under the bonnet, she wears a soft, white cap. The woman wears beige gloves and holds a closed, pink and gold umbrella and a handkerchief in her right hand. A pink shawl wraps around her right arm and swirls behind her. Two bathing machines are visible on the beach behind her.
