Description
This circa 1922 photograph of six veterans of the Spanish-American War and World War One was taken in front of the Goodyear Tires store at northwest corner of Twelfth and J streets. Although Sacramento contributed few servicemen to the Spanish-American War, thousands of Capital City men participated in the Great War, with roughly 100 of that number dying in France and Belgium.
