Description
Contains a large map of most of the United States, showing with bold lines Southern Pacific Routes throughout the American Southwest and West, as well as affiliated routes in the East. There are inset maps of Texas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Antonio and New Orleans, and numerous timetables of connecting service to California from the East Coast, Texas and Mexico. Partially included as an old, historic map, but also because it shows on its map and timetables numerous small towns in California, which ties in with my theme, the rise and fall of railroad towns in California. Dated Feb. 1893; One large map with five inset maps. Three pictures.; Deteriorating, fragile, tearing at the edges. Front cover is stamped: "O.H. Henderson, Railway and Steamship Agent, St. Johnsbury, VT" Full document scanned
