Description
Report by Dr. Ethel Leonard and Dr. A. F. Wagner details the sanitary conditions of the Owens River in the Owens Valley. Based on the report, Dr. Leonard recommends that the river not be used for consumption by Los Angeles residents via the Los Angeles Aqueduct. Report contains tables, photographs of the researchers and data, as well as attorney Ingle Carpenter's petition to Los Angeles County. Last page contains a map of the Los Angeles Aqueduct water shed.
