Photograph of a drawing of the last five master ship to sail the Pacific, The Governor Ames of Boston, shown sailing around the Horn, ca.1898. Captain Adams was her master. Penants flying from the tops of the five masts read: "S", "D", "G.A.", "Gov. Ames". An American flag flies from the last sail. Five spinnakers are unfurled at her bow. A lighthouse is visible in the background at left (the direction in which the ship is facing).
