Filling the rest of the scene, beachgoers blanket the sand with innumerable beach umbrellas, obscuring much of the scene. Tenement buildings are visible to the left, while in the right distance, amusement rides can be seen. Legible signs from left to right include: "Denver Hotel", "Tacoma Brew", "[...] Drink, Barbecued Sandwiches, Ice Cream [...]", "Umbrellas", "Creigton Hotel", "Chick Inn. Fried Chicken.
