Photograph of an exterior view of the biological science laboratory at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, June 11, 1929. The three-story laboratory can be seen at center. A covered corridor lined with open archways runs around the perimeter of the building on the first floor, while many rectangular windows are visible on the upper floors. The roof of the building is flat, although a dome can be seen over the corridor in the foreground at left. A line of thin pine trees can be seen at right. The branches of several tall trees are visible in the foreground.
