Photograph caption dated June 4, 1956 reads "Mmes. Dorrie Ricci, Vida Letizia, Georgia Perock, Mary DeMel and Alma M. Whisler, from left, inspect ceramics created by the Valley Mud Hens. Work will be exhibited at the installation dinner Thursday evening when Mrs. Whisler, president elect, receives the gavel from Mrs. DeMel, retiring president." Valley Mud Hens is a ceramic hobby group.
