Image of a scene from the Battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in 1863 during the American Civil War; Confederate soldiers attack Union lines with cannons in foreground; spooked horse hitched to a wagon being calmed by a handler at left; dead and wounded men visible on the ground or being carried away; smoke in the air partially obscures the view of Union forces up the hill at left.
Date supplied by cataloger based on printer history; Bufford was located at 313 Washington from 1856, and changed business name in 1865. "Issued from Bufford's Print Publishing House 313 Washington St. Boston."--text, bottom center margin. "107."--text, bottom left margin.
