Photograph shows Tehama County court house, Red Bluff. First Tehama County building completed in October 1860 by contractor V. P. Baker at a cost of near $22,000. It was located in town square bounded by Washington & Jefferson Streets between Oak and Pine Streets. The main entrance faced on Jefferson Street until some years later. Landscaping was done in 1874. The foreground area on lower right was used by Brady Stables as a corral unit until the present IOOF building was erected in 1881.
