PART OF A SERIES: Kirkland & Ellis provided general assistance to the Independent Commission over the course of its investigation, and also researched the merits and drawbacks associated with a community-oriented policing model. Included in the series are article clippings, reports, and other source materials related to community-oriented policing interviews with personnel from the LAPD’s Harbor Division, where a community-oriented model was tested and interviews with personnel from other LAPD divisions about their perceptions of departmental operations.
