Description
John Cobb comes to a stop in his Railton automobile at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Men wearing AAA armbands escort the vehicle into an area marked "Gilmore record breaker lane". The vehicle has the Gilmore Oil Company lion logo painted on the front. A crowd of people are kept away from the automobile by wire fences.
