Photograph caption dated March 27, 1962 reads, "Joan Carter, Los Angeles, gets prepared for a free X-ray at a North Hollywood Health Center open house. X-ray technician Albert White was one of many technical persons who demonstrated the center's facilities to visitors this week. Among demonstrations were environmental sanitation and public health nursing and swimming pool instruction. The center is located at 5300 Tujunga Ave. The open house was the first opportunity for persons to visit the center."
