Photograph caption dated November 7, 1949 reads "Oliver and Minnie Andrews Logan of 1129 N. Central Ave., Glendale, won a bond for being the oldest settlers in the Valley. They came here in 1887 and have been leaders in community progress. They are cousins of Fred Weddington and were responsible for his father's decision to move here from Iowa in 1890."
