Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated July 15, 1949 reads, "Any type of water feature such as the fish pond illustrated above adds a feeling of coolness to the garden on a hot summer day. There are many interesting ways to develop a fish pond, but we know of nothing more intriguing than the tiny fisherman sitting on the bridge which is in the garden of Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Hornig, of 10735 Bluffside Dr., North Hollywood. Mrs. Hornig is an expert amateur horticulturist, a member of the Laurel Garden Club, and a flower arranger, besides being chief gardener in her own lovely garden."
