"Cameroun - En route pour le marche" ("On the way to the market"). Four people travel in a boat loaded with cargo and a ladder. One man sits in the rear with a paddle, two women sit in the middle with the cargo, and one person looks ahead from the front of the boat. The back of the postcard has a small handwritten note in French, with a printed address for the publisher: "Ste des Missions Evangeliques, 102, Bd Arago, Paris." Société des Missions Evangéliques was a Protestant organization known in English as the Paris Evangelical Missionary Society.
