Lægevidenskabelig embedseksamen, 1950 – efterfulgt af hospitalsansættelser af kortere varighed, bl.a anæstesi – og fødeafdeling. Sammen med familie udsendt af DMS til Tanganyika/Tanzania, 1958-70. Arbejdssteder: Ndolage og Nyakahanga Hospitaler – se ægtefælles portræt. Fratræder i 1970. Genudsendt som børnelæge til Nyakahanga Hospital, 1983-90. Pensioneret i 1990. Hanne (Johanne) Buch, b. Ellerbek, 1923 in Mukden, China. (Parents: The Missionaries, Søren Anton and Dorthea Ellerbek). Married to Børge Buch, 1951. (4 kids – b. 1956-58-60-64). BM in Medicine, Copenhagen University, 1950, followed by temporary assignments at hospitals in Denmark, e.g. anesthetic- and maternity departments. Together with family sent by DMS to Tanganyika/Tanzania, 1958-70. Working places: Ndolage and Nyakahanga Hospitals – see husband's portrait. Resigned in 1970. Re-sent as pediatrician to Nyakahanga Hospital, 1983-90. Retired 1990. Senior volunteer at Nyakahanga Hospital, 1992-93. Hanne Buch died in 2004.(Photo 1983).
