Description
White designed this house for Truman and Marie Susan Ratliff; she was a school teacher and he farmed the property, growing alfalfa and citrus fruits. The sweeping roof was S-shaped, with a higher roofline above the dining and living rooms to take advantage of light and the view, while the lower portions of the roof cover the attached carport for needed shade.
