Photograph was edited for publication purposes The Granada Hills Memorial Church also known as the Granada Hills Community Presbyterian Church was later renamed the First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills, located at 10400 Zelzah Avenue, Northridge. Photograph article dated February 18, 1950 partially reads, "The first unit of the Granada Hills Memorial Church (Community Presbyterian) is nearly ready for occupancy...Early in 1949 a three and one-third acre site was purchased on Selzah [sic] Ave., large enough to permit full development of church and recreational grounds." Rev. Alfred B. McNair and Thurlow S. Culley, chairman of the building committee, are shown discussing final construction plans.
