Description
The Ward Block's hotel, located on the southwest corner of Colorado Street and Fair Oaks Avenue, originally opened as the Webster Hotel in 1884. It became the Grand Hotel after the property was purchased by Edwin Ward, who bought the building in 1886 at a cost of $17,000. This photograph was taken wwhile the business was under Ward's ownership.
