Photograph caption dated May 30, 1962 reads, "Miss Helen Crockett, center, of Encino, receives congratulations from Mrs. Loretta L. Delgado, left, and Emanuel H. Newman of the State Department of Mental Hygiene, upon her retirement from the agency. Miss Crockett, who was honored at a surprise luncheon in Hollywood, has been a social worker since 1926 and had been with the department since 1950, working in the San Fernando Valley. She is a member of the Valley Welfare Planning Council."
