Shows gravesite, covered in flower arrangements. Tent has been erected over site. Grave to the left is E.J. O'Brien. Rest of cemetery visible in background.

John Baldwin arrived in California by 1874. Was active as a photographer in several cities, including Sacramento. In Sacramento operated out of a gallery on J Street in the 1880's. Album is photographer's sample book.
John Bachofen was native of Switzerland. Interred in City Cemetery.
