Description: Portrait of Lucretia Louise del Valle Grady, member of a family very important in Los Angeles history from the early days of the pueblo. Featured in the book, "La Reina," by Laurance Landreth Hill, published by Security Trust & Savings Bank in 1929, on page 60. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginaldo F. Del Valle. Before her marriage she became widely known through her work as the star in John S. McGroarty's "Mission Play."
