Description
Photograph of a typical Japanese canal scene in Tsuruga, Japan, [s.d.]. A cluster of small boats stand tied to the small dock on the left while several others are tied on the right. The narrow canal of shimmering water divides the two pieces of land as the water reflects each banks' contents. On the left stands a small structure shaded by overhanging trees. On the right stands several more buildings which appear to lean over the land's edge. The banks continue around the bend of the canal in the background.
