Description
Photograph caption dated May 11, 1957 reads, "Majestic Isabella Horton, 97, typifies all mothers and Motherhood. Literally queen of all she surveys, in her Encino home where she has lived since 1925, she quietly manages her houshold [sic], while gazing serenely down the future. One of early donors to Encino First Presbyterian Church, her roots are deep in Valley history."
