Scope/Content: The video provides an an overview of the Golden State Minority Foundation, which was established in 1974. Interviews include: Ivan A. Houston, executive director, Golden State Minority Foundation; Rosa Flores, vice president, La Salle Partners, and a former scholarship recipient; R. Neil Cheatham, chairman, Robert Vance Securities, and former scholarship recipient; Steven Bell, Angeles, Mesa Elementary School; Alexandra Hart, Peacock Players. Also discussed is the Educational Enrichment Support Project, an initiative to assist local K-12 students that was initiated following the 1992 Los Angeles unrest.
